
The story of the RELAX brand began in 1996. We were young and wanted to do things differently – without unnecessary ostentation, with lightness and perspective. The name RELAX expressed exactly how we approached the business.
Back then, the market lacked a brand that offered attractive design and quality at an affordable price. There was a gap between cheap "no name" products and expensive global brands – and that is exactly where we positioned RELAX.

There was great interest in our glasses right from the start. Gradually, they appeared in the offerings of major retailers and at fashion events, becoming a sought-after accessory. A fundamental milestone was also the collaboration with Jaromír Jágr, which brought significant attention to the brand.

RELAX was also the first Czech brand with its own concept stores in shopping centers. We gradually expanded our range to include sports accessories – gloves, hats, helmets – and naturally built a strong position not only in sunglasses but also in sports eyewear.


Today, we are increasingly asserting ourselves in the optical frame segment as well. We offer customers a complete solution – from stylish sunglasses and sports models to everyday optical frames.

The introduction of online shopping represented an important step for us toward greater accessibility of our products. Customers can now purchase Relax anytime and from anywhere, without limitations. This milestone allowed us to be closer to their needs and naturally expand our brand into the online world.

After nearly three decades, RELAX remains a Czech brand that grows, innovates, and looks to the future with optimism. We are developing sustainability, digital services, and the online shopping experience.
